Who is responsible

What we collect and why

• Your listing — link or @handle, name, description, image. To display the board. Legal basis: performance of the contract.
• Payment references — payment id, amount, currency, timestamp, and the email the payment provider gives us. To deliver the placement, handle support and reconcile disputes. Legal basis: contract and legal obligation.
• Consent record — the fact and timestamp of your two checkout confirmations: what you were buying, and your express request for immediate publication with its effect on the right of withdrawal. Legal basis: legal obligation, and our legitimate interest in being able to evidence it.
• Server logs — IP address and request data, briefly, for security and abuse prevention. Legal basis: legitimate interest.

We do not collect card numbers. We never see them.

Cookies

We do not use advertising, analytics or tracking cookies. No Google Analytics, no Meta pixel, no TikTok pixel, no session recording. Measurement is server-side and aggregated. If that ever changes we will ask for consent first, with Accept and Reject offered at the same level.

Who else processes your data

• Polar — merchant of record and payment processing.
• Our hosting provider — serving the site.
• Our email provider — transactional emails only.

Some of these may process data outside the EEA under the safeguards their own terms provide.

How long we keep it

Listings stay while public. Payment records are kept as long as tax and accounting law requires. Logs are kept briefly.

Your rights

Access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection. Write to legal@wars.money. You may also complain to the Spanish data protection authority (AEPD).

Note that a listing is public by nature. If you want yours removed, ask us and we will remove it; the payment record itself we have to keep for accounting.
